Jim Hunter is a motorsport enthusiast who expresses his passion through photography and writing.

Throughout a prolific career as a cinematographer, Hunter often had flashes of inspiration to turn his eye to motor sport. A 2004 trip to Italy and the San Marino Grand Prix at Imola provided the kick necessary to satisfy those flashes.

Cutting his teeth in sports car racing in the US while contributing to a handful of small outlets, Hunter worked his way into covering international motor sport. His talents as a cinematographer and in storytelling are embedded in his images—each telling a unique story in a split second of time.
